Intended use, the working environment and regulatory requirements are also essential when selecting the right configuration.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"c-title-5 wp-block-heading\">Not Every Laboratory Needs the Same Solution<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Choosing between <strong>RUO, Medical Device or IVD<\/strong> requires more than comparing technical specifications. The intended application, laboratory setting and manufacturer-defined intended use must also be considered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Europe, medical devices and in vitro diagnostic medical devices are regulated under the MDR (EU 2017\/745) and IVDR (EU 2017\/746), respectively. For this reason, the intended use of a product should always be assessed before choosing a configuration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Research Laboratories<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Universities, research centres and biomedical institutes often carry out a wide range of experimental projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In these environments, <strong>RUO solutions<\/strong> provide the flexibility required for research and development activities.
